This was posted recently on the NYCSR website, if anyone is interested. Shibas, wine and beer sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon! I hope to be there. If anyone from this board can attend, please post it. I'd love to meet you.

    do you know if it's a dog friendly place or is it not a good idea to bring the pups?

    Xremii - I'd think that all pets are welcome, but I've never been to the event. I posted the question on the NYCSR site but I don't know if anyone will answer since they're so short of volunteers.

    Everyone - Just so everyone knows, according to the website (http://www.millraceshops.com/WagnWinen.htm), tickets are $25. each if purchased in advance and $30. if purchased on the day of the event. I wouldn't want anyone to travel there and then find out that the cost is more than they really wanted to spend.

    It looks like you have to be 21+ and you can bring your dog. NYCSR is only one of the rescue groups participating I believe.

    It looks like I may not be going myself, now, but for a REALLY GREAT reason! I filled out adoption forms for 2 Shibas fostered by NYCSR. The foster mom just let me know that she's available on Saturday to do my home visit and she can bring the dogs to meet me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO excited!

    congrats! I hope you get them :) And good luck on two shibas! They are worth it but oh so annoying at time >.<

    I might go with Jon if we don't already have plans.. I really have to write everything down one of these days..
