Yep, you can say that again!

Everything pet related around here seems to be expensive. All the food is imported, so middle men take their share. Only the stuff that comes in very large quatitities gets cheaper, but that is normal Pedigree Frown.

Even the Furminator we got got cheaper by ordering on Ebay, and coming from Arizona. Around here I couldn't find it cheaper than 77euro (including postage). We got it for about half that.

Wow. That somehow seems wrong to me. Is there anyway to order your food off the internet more cheaply?

Dave, we actually bought most of the stuff for the cat from an online shop, and it was only slightly cheaper in some things - you really have to look around well because online doesn't always mean cheaper. Now, as regards food, I am doubtful whether we can get cheaper than we have found so far... Rui has just said that Acana Portugal sells it at a set price here.

And Orijen is only available at one (online) store, as far as he knows.

I'm an ASS.  Orijen did make the list this year, it was just listed under Champion Pet Foods.  I didn't read the article that closely the first time, I should have.

    Whoops...
