Hotels/Lodging with a [not small] Dog
Not really a product review so much as a request for reviews/information about such accomodations.
As I posted before, we're finally going to get Ki and bring him back to Colorado (from where he is staying in California). On the way back we may need to spend one night in a hotel/motel/travel lodge/whateveryouwanttocallit just to get some rest before we finish the drive home. We are trying to set up a stay with a friend of a family member situation but that doesn't look to be going through so we're trying to find places to stay with Ki on the way back.
I am looking for any insight about any places (preferably chains that we might spot anywhere along the way...but it will likely be somewhere in Nevada, possibly near Vegas, if you want to suggest something specific) that are:
-Not expensive (we are still getting settled and don't have a lot of extra money but getting Ki is super important so we're making this trip work on a limited budget).
-Allow a crated dog about 45-50lbs without charging something crazy for him being there basically in a box for a few hours.
We don't really need ammenities since it's just a quick sleep-and-go situation but it shouldn't be spooky or gross either. hehe
Thank you all for any suggestions!
