Nightly Rituals

Every night my girls tackle my husband and maul him with kisses.
(Pardon the initial darkness, it brightens up when I remembered to turn on the lights)


Then Jay takes his boots off. Miko waits with deep anticipation for his boots to come off so she can do this.

    LOL I've always wondered what's up with dogs and shoes or dogs and socks. My boy is crazy for socks, literally!! He'll do anything to get a chance to nibble on them!! When I was still considering entering him in a dogshow I was sure I needed to use a sock to put him in position, not a treat LOL

    I love those girls! and its hard to beat a Miko-Ruby tag team makeout mugging. xxoo!!

    I like how Jay plays along with them and sings to them. :) very sweet.

    He is such a sucker for them. He also totally reinforces naughtiness, jumping up on him.

    I don't blame him. It is hard to resist letting them clamber all over you. Ruby is such a clown and so warm and happy I just can;t STAND it!

    Tomoe demolishes shoes...she will go for my wife's shoes first, if none of those are available, mine are lunch.

    It's gotta be because they smell like us, so she figures they are a way to get "into" us. Normal dog thing, but losing five total pairs of shoes during the blizzard the other week was inconvenient to say the least.

    This week she learned how to open Saki's gym bag to get her flipflops out...

    My girls don't chew the shoes, they lick the soles and fall asleep.

    Miko is weird about the boots! You would think with a dog's sense of smell, you would not want your head in a boot someone wore all day long, LOL!

    Keep in mind, they think cat poop is delectable too. There is little accounting for taste.
