Homeopathic remedies - Nosodes

Has anybody used nosodes or knows more about them? Any experience at all?

I'm interested in homeopathic remedies, I know lots of them may be just crap, but it's worth a look.

Nosodes fascinate me, but I am weary. If they really worked then they would be more widely used, right?

I don't know much about nosodes. It kind've is wierd to me that you would have to give the Parvo Nosode to a dog within a few days of them being exposed. Ummm how are we supposed to know when they will be exposed?

I do know a woman down at the dog park who tried this type of homeopathic vaccinations. Her dog got Kennel Cough when it was going around the park. Kind've proved to me to stick with vaccinations until this is further developed, if ever.

I do however use homeopathic remedies, and I believe that homeopaths such as Collodial Silver will one day prove to kill diseases such as AIDS.

When Koda got puppy warts, I used a mix of Lysine and Collodial Silver to get rid of them. Worked like a charm. Two weeks and they were gone, while others were still suffering with them.

From what I gather they are not given only after possible exposure, but starting with the first week of age. There are special schedules, I'll try to look some up this weekend.

About exposure - I think that it's like a precaution if you attend dog shows or if your dog plays with another dog and later on you find out he's shown signs of Parvo. Smth along these lines.

The only homeopathic remedy I've tried is Arsenicum Album but it doesn't seem to be working...

I've found a site saying that with nosodes + just one vaccination at the age of 10 weeks then again at one year all the pups are doing fine. http://www.napoleon.org.uk/alternative.htm Don't know what to say about that, it seems a bit too good to be true.
