Akita Diet

Hi:

The breeder of my JA advised to feed my JA a diet rich in Fish, Meat, Yogurt, Parmesan Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Apples... I spoiled my dog with this fresh diet, and now, if I am too busy to make it for her, She refuses to eat dry dog food!
Anybody has a suggestion?

Thanks,
Adele

Don't worry my 1st Akita also was used with fresh food, then as now by lack of time I went Proplan croquettes. At first he stayed away from his bowl, refused her food and then after 5 days seeing that they did not give it ended up doing it.
You must certainly know that the Akita are not big eaters.
Go courage it will eventually get used to it ...

    Hi Yogen:

Thanks for your answer. I never left Akiko-Go with dry food only, for more than 12 hrs!
My Akita is actually a big eater, she loves good food, but she is not fat. She runs in the garden half of the day.
I will try to leave her with dry food for one day and see...

    Hi Yogen:

Yes, they are very smart, but stubbborn ("testardi" as we say in Italian)!
