Kai and Kishu in the Mountains

edited June 2010 in Hunting & Working
Went out with my wife and the three dogs today. She snapped a few shots, and tried to get some shots of 'the action'. She apologizes for only using auto settings LOL.

Why do all my dogs love mud?

It's great to see a couple sharing dog interests. :-)

First dog shows, now mountain hiking. Next, hunting? :-)

Nice!! That looks like a nice sized nuta-ba. Did you catch any thing?

Actually I'm constantly amazed at how quickly these guys clean up. They were seriously sloshing around in the mud, and 10 minutes later they were completely spotless again. I really never need to wash them, just let them run around in the underbrush, nature does the rest.

@ayk Ummm the wife asked to go home before we even got there, and she wasn't too happy when I pointed out the mamushi (poisonous adder), but my hat's off to her for putting forth the effort. She tags along to things every so often, will have to see if it sticks!

Are you wearing and Oregon Wine Country shirt? Oh no! It's all about California's Napa Valley. That's it I need to send you a new shirt. ha ha ha.

Great pics. As always your pups are amazing. I so want to steal Haru and breed her with Kona and get a pup out of it. That's my dream match.
