New SPAM -- Mini meet-up in SF
We are on our way home tomorrow from SF, but had a wonderful trip including a fun visit with MayMay, Koda, and of course Tara on Monday. We spent a few hours down by the Wharf, had a pleasant lunch, and got in some nice walking and sight-seeing time with the doggies.
What pleasant, well-behaved doggies! Tara, you have made such a huge difference in MayMay's life --- I can see how you fell in love with her... If any of you have followed the threads on MayMay you will know that Tara had a long way to go with her behavior after taking her in as a foster just a few short months ago, and the progress is nothing short of amazing in just a few short months... I say forget the "It's me or the dog" lady and Cesar Milan... Ask Tara when you need training tips!
Unfortunately could not bring Josephine with us on this trip, but who knows what the future will bring... Maybe next trip?

Thanks for the compliments on the pups. I am very proud of my little girl! I love hearing people say she's well behaved. he he he. Way different from three months ago when my friends wouldn't come over or let me bring her to their house. I don't think it's me. She just needed someone to set some rules in place and love her. She's so lovable. Koda came the way he is I think. He was born acting like a grown up.
Now to teach them not to be scared of Sea Lions. :-P
Koda, May May, Tara and me:
Close-up of May May:
Koda, May May, and Steve (at least his bottom half):
Koda, May May and Steve: The doggies were looking to have some hunting fun with a Wharf pigeon or seagull here, I think:
Those scary sealions: Doggies did not like these creatures! Don't know if it was the odor or the noise!
Tara and May May --- "...goin' to San Francisco,,, summertime will be a love-in there..." (Dating myself again!!!)
Josephine --- I picked this one because she is in somewhat the same pose in this close-up as May May...
Second pic of Josephine:
Nice pictures!
Jessika and Rina, Maymay always has a guilty look on her face because she is ALWAYS getting into something! lol. She's my mayniac.
Thanks Beth for posting the pics. I am going to steal them. I still can't believe you got Koda to look at the camera.
I had such a great time meeting with you and Steve. It was like meeting old friends. You're right Josephine looks more like Maymay in that pic, but she moves like Koda. Watching those videos of her on your camera was like watching my Koda running around. It was really uncanny.
Oh, and the evil Sea Lions. I had never seen Maymay scared of anything before. Her poor little tail uncurled. I expect Koda to get scared, but my little tyrant? That amazed me.
She's very funny...
Good work, Tara!
and always fun when Forum friends meet up!
