That reminds me of something - I went to a Brazilian steak house with work once, it was pretty lame, real cheap version.
We where sitting there being served the different "cuts of meat" and it was like sausage, and chicken, and sirloin steak... just pretty cheap stuff...
Anyway, my friend leaned over to me and whispered "Twenty bucks says they come up next and offer us Beef Jerky" - like 30 seconds after that the Gaucho walked up and offered us "Sun-dried Steak"! lol! What a cheap place!
oh man - I love deer Jerky! I had a good friend in high school that always hunted and would make deer jerky and bring it to class. We spent every class sitting in the back of the room eating deer jerky - it was great!
I've never had venison jerky before, but I've heard its great.
Speaking of venison though, Lucy eats a venison formula diet. When she first started it, we were on a walk around the neighborhood and I stopped to chat with the group of guys that drinks beer around the fire pit a couple times a week. They were all enjoying Lucy so I started telling them about all her problems and the new food she was on. They got really excited about it and I couldn't figure out why. Then, one of them asked to come over for a bowl of venison. I almost fell on the ground laughing. When I informed him that it was processed in kibble and canned form, he turned bright red.
OK im a little late to the scolding, comcast sux a$$ and turned off our internet because they lost our dvr box from 13 months ago...another story.
I guess I should clarify...I dont eat steak for that very reason. By the time it is done cooking for me my jaw would break. Chad loves his red meats and has requested that my boss start cooking for him because they eat fillet mingon (sp?) all the time and barely cooked steak. She is on bed rest and asked me to cook her steak...I informed her she needed to keep a CLOSE eye on me. I dont keep my man happy when it comes to steak...I also dont eat pork. Maybe I should start getting tips from Jessica...I might as well be vegetarian...
Chad loves buffalo also...I cant get myself to eat or try it.
I live in the land of steak. Alberta beef is where it's at! Some folks from church brought us some food since I'm less mobile nowadays, including two sirloin steaks from cows they raised themselves, free range, no nasty chemicals, just all-natural good steak. Holy crap, that was good. I would have been a sin to cook those past medium!
MmMmmm....I want steak now! My friend from Washington makes the BEST steak ever! I dont' know how he does it but it just melts in your mouth with a burst of flavor. "its like an orgasm in my mouth" (TEST -does anyone know what show thats from?).
