So my husband got a new camera for our trip to Germany, and it has a decent video on it, so he took this video and sent it to me while I was out of town this past weekend:

It's kind of long, but if you skip in to about 1:45 you'll see a pretty funny part...which is Toby watching from the sunroom.

Oskar is really handsome, but then again he always has been. It's good to see some videos on here. I really need to get some pics of the dogs.

We just had Oskar weighed and he was at 109 (unfortunately he had to go to the vet this morning--a month after the neutering, he developed a hematoma, and had to have it aspirated. My vet said it was just my luck....doesn't happen that often that far out from the surgery).

Yes, Oskar still is very puppy like, even at his size! I really do think Akitas are a bit slower to mature.

@Dave, thanks! The yard is very much NM mountains--just juniper and pinon, and me trying to keep my little patch of herbs and flowers alive through the drought (and safe from Shibas who like to "help" with the gardening)

Very cute. Toby looks like a sniper in the window, lol. I agree the yard is lovely! I love yards that fit into the surrounding area much better than water-consuming lawns.
