ovariectomy vs ovariohysterectomy
Can someone please help me find a reliable source to explain the pros and cons of an ovariectomy vs ovariohysterectomy in plain English? I can only seem to find bias articles or scientific papers that fly right over me.

Apperantly with pyo, the risk of getting it is not eliminated but severely reduced (like a %1 chance). Progesterone would have to be avoided, as this apperantly is what would cause such things as pyo from emerging.
I'm opting to go for a ovariectomy with Miyu, but am having a hard time convincing or finding a vet that is willing to leave the uterus in.
