Mr. Hilo turns one year today! Smile


We are going to celebrate by taking him for a drive in the mountains and maybe to visit the Buddhist monks in the canyon. Also, he is really having the best birthday ever because Michelle, Jen's sister, is in town and Hilo is her fav.

    Rachael - Really? That is impressive - you guys will LOVE the "wooowooos" when you get your Akita, it's the best part of my day. Every morning I get a big "woooowooo" from Mr. Hilo... I love it!

    Happy birthday to Hilo! Those wooowooos are really great I bet. I was just reading back through the thread where we were talking about collars and I read the anecdote of Hilo pulling out of his collar. I found myself smiling while picturing Hilo wooowoooing after pulling out. What a happy boy! I hope he enjoys his drive in the mountains! Take lots of good pictures. Laughing

    I have to say Hilo is my favourite too. 


    I really like the photo of Hilo and Ahi in the snow, he has this majestic pose.And Maui just standing there while Hilo fluffs the bed. Your dogs rule, Brad! The face hilo does after fluffing is soooo great, it's like he's going "Do you see? That's the way you do it"

    Thanx Rui! Hilo makes the funniest faces, he has a lot of different expressions - he's great! Akita Inu are just really great dogs, you will be so happy with yours, I can't wait to watch him grow up.
