Yea, the Shibas have it nice in those big pens... the one they are in is Ahi's but she is not put in their except when we leave, then they are left out and Ahi and Hilo are put in the crates. We used to leave the Shibas out at night with Ahi, but Ahi likes to pick on Maui in the middle of the night so we started putting them in the pen, they seem to like it too at night.
Ahi stays out and does her "job" as night patrol (which means she sleeps on the floor by the window and barks at Coyote).
Here is a link to the pens we use (hopefully the link will work):
We attach them to a wood floor (half inch particle board) covered with linoleum stick-on tile. We use plastic ties and wood screws to secure them to the wood floor. That way the pens don't move across the living room when they jump on them and it protects the real floor form any destructiveness. They work well, I originally made it for Ahi because she was so crazy and didn't like a crate. It seems to work well in helping the bigger pups feel like they are not in a crate but still keeping them out of trouble.
We have decided tho that we will not be migrating Loa and Kona to the big pens (due to lack of space), they will just have to deal with their (very large) crates. They seem to like them and we assume if we never move them to a pen they will not miss the luxury.
Our dogs spend very little time in crates or pens anyway.
I have no idea, I think it is something in the WYSIWYG html form field thing... I will have to dig through the code to find it and I have not had the time. Seems to work with short URLs:

I know, Maui's bark is very high pitched... it's kinda prissy. lol
Ahi does make the best noises, she is odd. I love her.
Gas prices are really the only thing keeping me from driving out there and taking off with Ahi.
I love how the Shibas are in that giant crate. It's practicly a room for them.
