I dont know which pictures to comment on- they are all great! I love her in the woods, and zooming around, I love Hana relaxing and cuddling in side, I love her looking majestic on the stairs...all good! Really glad you have been able to get her out to rocket around the woods She looks happy and comfy with you guys.
No suggestions on food- we rotate proteins and brands and add-ins like tripe, or canned or go raw. Today I scored some free samples of The Honest Kitchen dehydrated food and gave it to the girls who looooved it (Its like instant oatmeal- you scoop out whatever amount and add warm water and I think they like the warmth and the smell) but Matsu (a total foodie, like his half-brother Goro) clamored more than ever to get what the girls had ("Grain Free kibble samples, my ass! I want warm beefy oatmeal too! It smells soooo goooood!") THK is ex$pe$sive but you can use it as a mix-in instead of an entire meal to make it last. Might liven up the regular food, and its nutritious and easy to store.

@wrylybrindle aww thank you! We like to think she's happy and comfy with us as well. We're pretty excited to get a second dog sometime this year hopefully and I know Hana will really open up then. That's pretty cool that you switch up your doggies food and stuff! I was a little concerned that changing it every so often will irritate her bowel, but I guess it's fine as long as she wants to eat! @cdenney what are fish beams? I also try to squirt fish oil in her kibble, but she's pretty picky and sometimes won't eat it if I do, so I don't do it as often. I think she gets "bored" of certain food and won't even look at it. :S read: princess... Do you feed Sachi raw frozen patties? Is that beef or pork?
Sorry, I just looked at all the pics of Hana you posted. her face DOES remind me of Kona's! so CUTE! the eyes looking up at you as she tilts her head down pic reminded me of Kona, and her SPRINTING as hard as she could!
@rafatturi Hey! Thanks for asking about her! We recently moved back into my parents home for a bit, so she's going through a little adjusting again. Despite moving to a more suburb/quiet area, she still doesn't like going on walks. We still take her hiking every weekend to a trail, and she does really well there. Although this past weekend, when we took her, about halfway through, she didn't want to continue for some reason. She kept stopping, and waiting for me to turn back to look at her, and if I took a step towards her, she'd dash away. If I ignore her, she'd catch up to me, but she'd stop and wait again until I turned back. When I leashed her up, she would put the breaks on me. Eventually, I decided I didn't want to force her to continue anymore (it was also pretty hot) so we headed back, and she was fine. I'm going to have to start training with her again to work up her confidence though, as well as work on her recall. She's super stubborn. She's improving, but very slowly. LOL. @thegela... I think whichever one you go with is going to be a good choice. It would be nice to see a Hokka, but it would ALSO be nice to see Hana with another Kai! Write down pros and cons and see which one wins! xP (it honestly might be a tie lol)
Personally, for a dog like Hana, I would prefer to get a puppy from a place/person that allows me to know as much as possible about it. Its temperament, health, parents, the breeder, what measures of socialization the breeder is taking, etc. The Hokka are so rare that it's a guessing game and for Hana (and ChoCho) the more I know the better matched the puppy will be for her needs.
