I love adding fish oil. Keep the bottle closed tight though. Moto got the bottle opened it, dragged it through the house, poured himself a good puddle on the old guest bed (has since been replaced) and licked it until he was sick.
He smelled like fish for months, but boy his coat was shiny!
I often describe him as a devil in a dog suit. There was also the cheese wheel nut sampler incident this past Christmas, A coffee table, copius amounts of cat poop (not anymore though, we installed a chain on the door, the cars fit but the dogs don't YAY!!!), some dining room chairs, my homework (not kidding), shoes, sock, bottle caps, bottles...you name it.
One time Nemo started chewing on my subwoffer right in front of me. I looked at him in shock for a moment and then was just like "WTF!". He proceeded to playbow and wag his tail, as he does everytime he does something naughty. What he love the most though is pens, nothing like having a dog with blue spots on his fur from where he chewed through the ink part.
Nemo destroyed two phones and a couple of pairs of sunglasses at his foster home. Jennifer's current cellphone is the first one to not have chew marks on it (after 3 years of having the dog). Plastic is apparently, really good for chewing.
I agree, dogs and plastic are like a match made in heaven. I don't know what it is, but every dog I've had always chews on anything plastic. Portia chewed up 4 pairs of glasses and Ninja has gotten into pens. I have those gel pens and one day after getting home from work, there were black spots all over the carpet...that was really fun getting out. And water bottles, they will chew on those forever if they could. I don't know whats so special about plastic...but I wish they would stop~! I've spent over 1k on glasses in the last 8 months . But then again, its my fault that I leave them where they can get them...Bad Romi Bad!
Oh man, we have to remember to always put our remote controls in our night stand drawers or its gone! Weird thing is that they only chew up the ones for our bedroom. (we have 3 different remotes, cable, tv, dvd) But they don't even bother with the ones in our living room. And its not like they only chew one. They have to chew up all of them. It sucks!
Kuma started on the door stop of the entrance door. It's a thing that's screwed to the floor and then has a cap. The cap has come out 3 or 4 times, I didn't even know it came out...
But that's the only thing (so far, I know...) that he's chewed and he wasn't supposed to. Of course we're on our 4th week together and I have to go buy the 3rd rawhide bone for him...
Both dogs chew on things, but Mika is the expensive chewer. The worse was the speaker wires to the Martin Logan speakers. All you geeks out there know that you don't buy cheap wire fore Martin Logans....Kurt was beyond pissed. Most recently, it was the wire to the doorbell. I was pissed about the BRAND New bluetooth headset and the BRAND NEW pair of shoes. Grrrrr. Though she's been known to chew drywall, plastic bottles and their caps....among other things.
Keigo loves tearing up pillows and bath mats. When we first got him (damn cat keeps typing) he put his mouth on the end of my Ethan Allen dining room table. Put a little divit (Romi, how do you spell that?) in it, right in front of me. I scared him so much, he's never touched a piece of furniture again. Oddly, he doesn't do any chewing anymore. He will steal things. Pillow, shoes, slippers, ANYthing and lick it to death. But that it.
Jazz is much more likely to lick than to chew. The only thing she truly chews on (other than chews) is the one frankenstein stuffed toy, which is hers anyway. I guess she must have grown out of that before I got her!

I love Moto. Stories like that don't make me dislike dogs, they make me want another one. What's wrong with me?
Stinky little Moto. He is a devil.

Whoa. I missed a bit.
