  • Quick question: How were you allowed to bring your dogs in the shopping center? It looks like your escalator video is in a department store. Is it a dog friendly indoor/outdoor mall?

It sounds like you had a lot of fun!
  • @zinja,
Good question. We are lucky to live in California where there are lots of outdoor malls that allow well behaved dogs. The escalator is in Neiman Marcus, someone else posted about taking their pup to NM in this thread:

Also check this thread for a few online resources on where to take your dogs:

  • ps. I think I have better success taking my JA pup to crowded places too b/c she lives with a shiba Oppa and has a pack of shiba uncles & aunties to follow. She doesn't know any better when everyone else is calm and easy going around crowds. It might be harder taking your dog/pup alone to crowded places for socialization if they don't like crowds
  • So lucky!

There is a few places that allow dogs in if well behaved one local coffee shop allows good dogs in front seating area if they behave. Saya loved it she layed down and watch people come in and out.

Places like tractor supply and royal king allows dogs I think.

Bass pro shop and Cabellas do too. Orvis allows dogs coarse those aren't everywhere.

Everyone loved Saya at Orvis. Sadly they didn't have the item I wanted to buy, but directed me to place that did..
Saya got plenty of pets and treats from the staff.

Few festivals/crat fairs near me allow dogs some of the buildings don't allow dogs inside, but plenty of outside stuff to look at things.

Saya loved it and she met many kids and adults.

Not all dogs can handle such crowded situation luckily as puppy we went to farmer market at time they allowed dogs. and birthday parties.

Neat, I grew up about 5 minutes from that mall. I used to ride my bike over there all the time.
  • Eevee does great in crowds. I like bringing her to the farmers market with her backpack.

They used to allow dogs in Lowes and Home Depot but there was a law suit where an employee got bit. I was thinking of making a website that lists dog friendly places. Sites such as BringFido do not give me a pleasant experience. It's also loaded with tons of ads.
