WOW! Congratulations, Hiro!! I know it is sad to see him leave but you did what you knew was best for him and that is the right thing! Hopefully you'll get regular pictures and updates!
I really am soo happy for Hiro. I'd been anticipating this day so much, and i've never even met him! Do you know if his new family is planning on joining the forum?
I can say it was one of the hardest things to do. He has been with me since he was 7 weeks old. I completely know what brad felt like now when he sent me Ritsu. This family has a shiba that they also got as an adult. They understand Hiro's needs during the adjustment period and are committed to his well being. Hiro did not want to show it, but he did like them. He jumped into the crate in the car on command. They have family in Columbus and come back often. They promised to send updates and photos and to let me know when they are in town do I can see him.
