I'm with Brad on this one. NK are smart and picky. I'm having this issue here. After Koda's surgery we were feeding him chicken and rice. The other dogs could smell it so they wouldn't eat their food so all the dogs got it. Now I'm trying to get everyone back on track and they are skipping a lot of meals. I'm not worried. They always keep themselves healthy. I just have to keep strong and not give in.
Uuuy yuy yuy. It's still a little frustrating because you want them to eat their meals and stop being hungry! But good you don't give in...ill remember this for the future if Kona gets all picky again (which I'm sure will come up. Lol)
I learned early, they wont starve themselves. I also learned not to give in. Kaiya is fed RAW and we offer a variety of meats at all times (she'll get salmon, lamb, chicken and beef on a meal by meal rotation) if she refuses breakfast, I pick it up and offer her the exact same meal at dinner. Very rarely does she turn it down a second time. I think its her way of keeping her girlish figure
