Funny/Weird Shiba Noises

Ninja makes the weirdest noises nowadays.  Here is a clip I got of him making his weird noises while chewing on a nylabone.

    What a goof! He is telling Portia: "Don't even think about taking my bone".

    *smiles* Joey makes those noises too, albeit a little higher pitched at this point in his life. It doesn't seem to be connected to Lucy at all. And it doesn't seem to be connected to his energy either. Sometimes his noises will sound completely frantic but he'll be laying perfectly still and not moving. I love Shibas!

    Tsuki does it, then her mouth moves while she's doing it and chewing and it sounds like a crotch-rocket revving!

    I think those are funny noises for a dog, but pretty normal for a Shiba.  They have the strangest vocalizations.

    you know - these noises aren't nearly as 'weird' as Kona's in the 'fight' video! whoa.

    Too funny!!! Portia is so sweet!! She's looking at you like 'Mom!! I want a bone too'.
