It was beautiful this morning and the grass was finally green, so I got some new photos of my 8 month old Shikoku. His brother Kiba just has his photos posted.
Yes the big red barn is beautiful. My husband and his family are long time residents of this area and they take pride in keeping the barns in tip top shape (this one was built circa 1816). Our county (Berks Co) in PA is renowed for its PA German barns with the beautiful woodwork and Hex murals (ours used to have the murals, but they were painted over in the 60's. I would love to put them back on the barn - but it is expensive to do).
And yes, Kuma loves his yard! I had it already for my 3 Siberians, so it was well set up for him!
Yes, we live near Kutztown. I thought I had heard that you said you were from SE PA. I know that Jessica Rabbit is also originally from this area (Buck co) and her parents still live down this way....
Omigoodness Kris&Dan, I just saw this post now! Kuma looks terrific! I love his color and urajiro/markings! That last picture reminds me of Kiba minus the color....drew likes to say that Kiba is all urajiro..haha. But Kuma really looks beauftiful!
are they really 8 months now? whoops...i've been telling people that they are 6.5 months...oh no...i'm turning into my own parents since they never get my age right!
shandrew - Yep, 8 mos +. I know I calculated it in early March and they were over 6 mos then.
tsukitsune - sorry about your hand (from the other thread). I am sure that we could get together sometime. I don't know many dog parks, so the Bethlehem one would be fine. But I am pretty busy in May, it would have to be later. And it sounds like you have your hands full right now. Good luck with your 3 dogs (hopefully your foster finds a home)

Ohh, he has such a nice yard to run around in. I am so envious. I would LOVE to have a yard like that for Tenji.
He looks great! Very healthy and happy! He does look like he is having a blast. :c)
We need more Kuma spam, more often!!!
Kuma is such a good looking boy.
I also love the big red barn.
