I'm grinning from ear to ear! How could you not give in to that? Geez I love Hilo! That's such a classic "mom, I'm going to be really cute and hope you spoil me pweetttyy pwweeasse" and the look on mom's face says "I know I shouldn't be spoiling you like this but damn you're so cute!". Thanks for sharing Brad. :-D
LOL, Kuma does the same thing! He sits there just looking at us while we eat. No sound whatsoever, just looking, sitting pretty. So far I've been able to resist, cause I don't want him to get a begging habit, but every now and then a bit of food finds it's way from my hand to his mouth. Normally it's bits of pear, he likes pear!
So Sweet. How could she possibly resist??? Keigo likes cheese puffs...Actually, the cats do too, but they all go CRAZY over cheese flavored sun chips. The Kitties stick their heads in the bag to grab one.
I love it. Our girls are good at begging and daddy is good at spoiling. My mom was here and told me she doesnt like being watched while she eats. But they sit so pretty!!
I loved these pics too, Jen's face says it all... and like you guys said, how could you resist a big teddy bear head on your shoulder like that?
We had a strict no people food policy until just recently Jen has started giving them little bits of food, usually snacks. now everytime we eat dinner (we eat dinner at that little table siting on the floor) Hilo plops up on the couch and puts his head on mom's shoulder just waiting. He just watches the food go from the plate to her mouth. lol. If we ignore him for long enough he will get bored and start mouthing Jen's head. lol... it's really funny, and slightly irritating, but to cute to really mind.
Lani, has started hanging out around us when we eat in there too... I wonder if she will develop the same "technique" as Hilo?
yea, we can tell a lot actually. It's pretty amazing how fast dogs adapt as long as the other dogs are relatively accepting. Our dogs have had dogs come and go so much they are just pretty used to it I guess.
Anyway, she was really attached to me for the first few days, she wouldn't leave my side - like when I was at my desk she would be right next to me or behind my chair. Now, as I type this, she is somewhere in the living room lounging with Hilo, Maui & Kaia! So she is mos def feeling more comfortable here.
She has also started to play a lot more with the others, she is very playfull and seems to really be starting to like Loa.
She is very very sweet too, just really loving and always happy to see us. She is also a little shy, and seems a bit more shy with men. So we will have to work with that.
Another thing is she is an amazing watch dog! She has a bark that would stop anyone in their tracks.
You HAVE to get a video of Hilo mouthing Jen's head. I would LOVE to see that.
Did I tell you that I absolutely adore Lani's tail??? It sits very high up, not on her butt or double curled. So funny. Glad she's settling so quickly.

LOL!!! I love Jen's expressions! They're classic! Im surprised all the other pups weren't surrounding her waiting for food!

That is freaking adorable.
I figured Jen would be a little tougher when it came to giving in.
But then again, who can resist that face.
