I am a bad Shiba dad :c(

edited April 2008 in Shiba Inu (柴犬)

Dave pointed out to me that I never really post videos or pics of Maui, it made me think and I think he is right. I dunno why, and I'm not gonna make excuses, I'm just gonna be a better Shiba dad staring today:

Recorded this today, Maui playing with Loa:

Now you're a bad shika dad for misspelling Loa's name :P

LOL Brandon! Brad: Now you've only got 84 more youtube videos to post to catch Maui up. ;-) I'm pretty sure that is the first video I've seen of him playing other than the water video in your backyard back in ATL. He plays nice!

LOL Brandon!!  Maui's scream is so high pitched!
  • edited November -1

Actually Maui is in almost every video, he is just in the background being weird or something. Maui is hard to catch on video, his play lasts very shot.

Rina: That's not Loa in the video, that's Lao our new Shika - did I not tell you guys about her? Tongue out

    Maui was a cute puppy:

The real reason you don't see Maui much is because he is actually a puppet:

I don't think I'll ever tire of video of these precious dogs!  Keep it up!

I did not know your rescued Kaia when he was so young.  That's an adorable video of him as a pup.

I'm a worse Shiba mom.  I have no video of Jake.  I need to change that so I can add to the spam.  Maybe, just maybe, when Lucy gets better, Dave can bring his camera to the play area and video Jake, Lucy and Joey.  Or LJ can video at our next meetup.  Do you video LJ?

Wow Bard, he was a cute puppy! If that was Joey in the video, he would have grabbed that ball and run off with it expecting me to chase him. More Maui spam please!

Oh yeah, Elaine....I think I have some video of Jake from when Jodi was still around. I'll check, but I'd be happy to help you out it that department. :-)

I can do video - I just rarely do.  Since I scrapbook, I usually do a lot of prints - one question - after the walk at Stn Mtn - do you guys want to find a close by park that can do off-leash?
  • edited November -1
yep!  Can you find that for us?
  • edited November -1
this is why on my silly facebook account, i am i a group called 'what's so wrong with a cream shiba?'

A lot of the time we are out walking or at the park, mostly people
notice Kitsune first because of his fox-like markings, but to their
dismay - Kitsune wants nothing to do with them, but sometimes Tsuki likes the diverted attention. But I think she is the most beautiful. <3

I love the snow white Shibas, I love the black/tan Shibas, heck I love all the Shibas :-)

i would love me a black and tan! but now i'm just content fostering,
but if we are ever fortunate to find a shiba that is totally compatible
with us, our shibas and our lifestyle... what am i saying?? I am
seriously a shiba addict... are there support groups for that?

I guess thats what this forum is.

I know I am an addict. Admission is always the first step.

lololol.  Me too, a complete addict.  You are not alone and yes, the forum is like our 'change the things we can, the ability to know the difference."Cool  The Jake Man has no idea how he has changed my life for the best.  He just gives me that serious look, all the time, cause it is all serious, even when he's playing, it is serious business.  What special, special dogs they are.

You guys are weird...im so glad im not weird.

LJ....NO Stone Mountain dog park (no pits or Rotts and I will never support that and it is gawd awful small). I vote Lenora Church. There is one off of 5 forks but it is all dirt.

    Remember, im in Stone Mountain

I wondered about the pits or rotts at Stn Mtn Park- I knew everything there was an on-leash thing - I'm good with heading over to Lenora after the meet-up - I'm probably going there this Sunday around 11:30 -12

Brad.  that video is so adorable.  I think that Maui must be part bunny.  Her hopping is so darn cute.
