JA Breeder in BC, Canada

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a Japanese Akita breeder in BC, Canada? We have a local breeder (Omamori) but I've heard some... not so good things about her dogs. Or maybe someone had a good experience with her?

Your best bet is to contact a reputable breeder in the US who is willing to ship or import from Japan.

There are definitely JAs in the US and Canada.

The first link is most current, and includes only reputable breeders who adhere to the JACA code of ethics.

Yes, there are some breeders in Canada, and yes, we are aware of them. Their exclusion from the list is not an accident.

What about AA breeders in Canada? I didn't see many when I checked. Is it the same issue as the JA?
