Hunting in the rain

edited February 2010 in Hunting & Working
Went out for a after noon hunt and when I got to my spot, it was raining cats and Kishus. Did'nt get a damn thing but had lots of fun watching Taro chase and bark at a group of cows. He would chase them and get in front of them and stop them and chase out the biggest one and bay it up. exactly what i want him to do but with the wrong animal. All in all it was a fun outing and good experience for taro.

Thanks for some reason the one standing ear became floppy again but the ears are starting to get shorter so maybe with in a few months they will be normal.

Baying cows. There's a new training method. :-)

Yeah it was really cool watching him stop the cows and then separate the large one in the group. It was like watching a wolf attack a group of elk. If he will only do that with the correct animal......but its a good start. He's not afraid to go after some thing that weighs 20 times his size.

Maybe he's just saying he wants steak not pork chops? lol Sounds like he's doing good though.
