Fun in the snow

So a nice Alaskan cold front blew through socal and took the kids, Hana, and Koyuki out to the snow for a little play time. Every thing was going great until my son puked half way up the mountain and so I spent a good deal of time doing the father stuff. One thing that I cannot tolerate is puke. No matter how small or who does it, if theres puke I start heaving.

Yes I can gut a animal without any issue or handle stinky bums all day long but when it comes to puke, thats my weak spot. So after about a half hour of just trying to keep my lunch down, I was able to clean my son up with the help of my daughters.

enjoy the pics.

  • Yuki #2 is looking great Gen! I especially love that shot of her trying to fit the duck trainer in her mouth. :-) Looks like a fun time was had by all! No Taro today?
  • No not today, too many cattle in the area and it wouldn't be fun if he was leashed all day. I'm taking him out tomorrow and tuesday for some oinker hunting.
  • They looked like they had so much fun! Koyuki is looking so beautiful!
  • Awesome pictures, Koyuki is just to cute and we really need see more pics of Hana.
  • Awesome pictures Gen!!!! Finally get to see Koyuki! She's looking very nice! Better than what I had imagined! Keep the photos coming when you have the time. I really like Koyuki's color!

Gen! Where the action?? Come on! I want to see the dogs in the hog pen doing some serious baying. You do have hog pen do you? :D
  • Koyuki and Hana look awesome! :) Yay for Kishu pictures.

Thanks every one. I really do need to get more picsup of my dogs.

@Yias: I used to but I ended up putting the hogs down on a mock hunt for Taro since they started to get a little too big. So now they are in the freezer. I'm hoping that Taro will pull Yuki into hunting and I think its been working little by little. When she gets to about 6,7 months or so I will run Taro with her at a boar ranch. Its just tough hunting on my own and taking photos of the hunt.

I think I'm going to take a buddy with me to the ranch to take video of the action.
  • Koyuki is very pretty! I had considered getting a Kishu from her litter... I'm glad they are turning out so nice!
  • I'm very pleased with her Brad, I really think she is going to be a good pig dog.
  • Koyuki is growing up very nicely thanks for posting fun snow pictures looks like they had fun.
  • I was just kidding with you Gen...although it would be very nice to see your Kishus in action! I love Koyuki's cream color and she looks like she is in great shape too. Just the way how I would like a pup to be, not too heavy not too light. Having a buddy tag along is always a plus! For some reason I never like hunting by myself....I always fear that something bad might happen to me while hunting and the only way to safety is an extra hand.
  • That's funny cause I actually love to hunt by my self. Probably cause my hunting buddies are loud, obnoxious, and I have constantly tell them to shut up.

Riki is very similar in color to Koyuki. I think she's going to be much darker though. I just love Kishus regardless of their color although one of these days I'm going to get me a true yushoku kishu!
  • @shishiinu ahem Gen, when u take me I'll be there with my lil flip recording all the action! lol
  • Glad to finally get to see pictures of Yuki #2. :)

And it is awesome to see Hana out and about and enjoying herself!
  • awesome shots. Looks like everyone had fun!!! Can't wait to meet them
  • nice pics, looks like you guys had a wonderful day...
  • That first pic of Koyuki is amazing! She looks like such a pretty woman. I'm a bit jealous of the snow trip.
