Kai Ken celebrated breed of the day on Dogster
You Kai people should check it out and make sure all their information is correct! With how popular Dogster is, we wouldn't want masses of people to be misinformed now would we? Not like we'd be able to get it changed right away...
Still kinda neat though.

The day they celebrated the kai ken this dog owner posted this which worries me..

Not sure if anyone know about the person, but she/he has a chow/GSD mix or some type of mix calls him a wolf dog and even breed him not sure if the owner still does it.
I even directed the owner to a wolf dog forum so people who actually owns wolf dogs can tell the owner, but not sure if it sunk it the owner was even talking to them about getting another wolf dog to breed to Kiyoshi.
Thankfully people said to not breed Kiyoshi anymore.. Hopefully the owner heeds the warnings.
I feel sorry for the owner when she/he actually gets a mid or high content WD and gets in trouble since they require an enclosure, much more work then an dog.. Especially since the owner has issues with loosing Kiyoshi or his dogs not behaving chewing stuff..
Sorry to be off topic or mean, but the post just worries me coarse she/he says wants to adopt so maybe wants to rescue, but still.. I worry since lot of the owners dogs have gotten ran over or past issues things like had puppies..
Atleast with kai ken I hope all the breeders screen their buyers well..
She is a stellar example of why rescues, breeders, etc. MUST screen their potential adopters and buyers very, very carefully.
I didn't check what date it was posted sorry.
Just a question I've checked the ainu dog info page and a picture of a dog named Darkly is listed as a ainu dog he's 3years old, but only a puppy picture is up.

Reminds me of a kai ken, but I dunno..
I submitted a request a week ago for them to change some information on the Tosa Inu page (that was the breed of the day a week or so ago), but they never changed it. They list the Shikoku Ken as "large", which is not very accurate. They aren't even large for Japanese standards.

And Brad, my experience has been that if you persist and include references with your updated info, they can and will make changes to their core site. Remind them that it's in their best interest, as a well-trafficked dog site, to have accurate information for the sake of their own credibility. It can take them some time, but they do seem to get around to it eventually.
