Awww...very cute! They look like they are getting along pretty well! She seems more interested in you guys more than the other dogs. But she's playing with the toys and drinking water from the bowl...looks like shes settling in just fine! Way to go Brad and Jen!
Ditto...Way to go guys! She seems to feel pretty comfortable with you guys already. I love the nose in the camera when she jumps up to say hello! In those videos you really get to appreciate how petite she is. I'm glad everything seems to be going so well. Although knowing you guys, I didn't ever thing it would be any different! :-)
I think they already know she is not leaving, that is why they are being so good... they seem to be rude to dogs they know are leaving, like when a gust dog comes over. It must be some vibe we put off or something.
She's getting settled so well! They're getting along just great! How cool! Even being on the small side, it gives you perspective on the sizes of the other pups. Hilo has a girlfriend, Hilo has a girlfriend!
Yes we introduced her to the Shibas yesterday night, it went well. Maui is doing GREAT with her... Kaia and her are ok, they have exchanged a few growls but nothing to bad. I have video of that too, but I have to get it off the camera.
Kona's a bull in a china shop. He really smacked into the dishwasher in the one video.
Kaia is such a tough little dog. When Lani was playing keep away it's like Kaia told her to give someone else a turn and she just dropped it.
Lani actually chewed her treat. Nemo never really chews treats unless they are huge. Sometimes he chokes on them, spits them back up, and then chews on them.
Wow Brad! I'm very impressed that she seems so comfortable in your pack already. She's playing really nice! Poor Ahi. Those noises just broke my heart. She does sound genuinely distraught. Congrats on such a successful introduction....keep it up!
Kona is totally a "bull in a china shop", he knocks over everything. He has knocked over our end tables (that is why we put them in storage)... He's a trip. He just seems to lack an understanding of dimensional space or something. I mean he really nailed the dishwasher in that video... I wish I had the camera up a bit so you could see it... I dropped the shot because it broke my concentration - I thought someone got hurt!

Kaia is tough, she has been showing Lani a little attitude, that is why I was on her so much in the video. She is tough, but Lani could hurt her... I worry about Kaia and her back a lot, so I don't want her to get into it. I know I can control Kaia so I tend to focus my corrections on her when in actuality it is not always her - Lani was starting things too in those clips.
But if that's the worst of it I would say we have done pretty well!

Ahi's cries are super sad... you are right Dave, you can tell she is just really upset. I wish she could play - she can take her e-collar off next Tuesday tho!
----
Jen - So far so good on Lao's knees... We are taking her and Hilo with us to Ahi's next appointment in Colorado Springs to have the doc look at them. So he should be able to tell us if Lao appears to in good shape or not.

Lani look very girly.
Hilo 'll be happy to have a girlfriend!
Lani's have a very good character, so sweet!

I love that Hilo's tail was wagging the WHOLE time. What a sweet boy!!

Lani is stunning! Bravo on the great introductions!
And so is Loa - she makes me want to try a Shikoku Ken. Does she have any leg issues?
