Hokkaido puppies!! Updated with video

Just got these photos from my breeder and thought I would share. The pups are just 2 days old, they still have pink noses and gums but these will turn to black as they get older. We are going to pick a female in 3-weeks. The day they were born in was -18C, I guess picking out a pup in a parka makes it a true Hokkaido experience!!

    OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!! Ahhhhhhhh I'm so excited and jealous at the same time!!!! (Pick a pup in a parka!) So much fun!! :) I was gonna say, I love the father's ears. I have a thing with short round ears. Makes my heart flutter a little. :) Your pup is gonna be BEAUTIFUL!! I want one!!

    The breeder said they look like little rats at the moment! The man who introduced me to this breeder told me the male was very nice because he has a fuller, bigger body than some other Chitose dogs. Will be interested to see what they look like in February. I also like the look of the smaller ears on the Hokkaido.

    Aw, Hokkaido-nuggets! Yay for puppies! And I agree that Papa-dog is awesome looking. You must be so stoked for your soon-to-be Hokkaido puppy. Have you been thinking on what you want to name her, or are you saving that for later?

    Thanks guys, I am planning on naming her 北夢 Kita Yume or Northern Dream. Her call name will be just Yume.

    @WhoBitMe We are going up to Hokkaido to see the puppies on February 8th, they will be 3.5 weeks old and I will get a ton of pictures and of course will also be able to pick my pup. The breeder will ship the puppy to us in Tokyo in March.
