Niko's most recent slaughter

Grandma loves to send toys that last about 2 seconds. We knew when the shiba was quiet it was bad news.

Sasha stole the squeker and wouldnt drop it so Niko wouldnt take it.

All I have to say is I have those identical chairs in my dining room.
They've tested the durability of teak from having had gnaw marks sanded
    out.

I have a 9 year old import that always kills the squeaker first.  Then he dismantles it.

I really love the Shiba faces.  They are so like Akitas but also so different.

You like how Chad was holding up the dead Lion as a trophy?  Sasha doesnt play with toys but has learned the shiba hoarding instinct.  I no longer buy toys that are at risk of immediate decimation.  Niko has trained me.  Sasha and Niko LOVE the rubber rings.  Niko shoves them in Sasha's mouth and Sasha drags Niko throughout the house by them.  They also love those holey rollers and racquetballs.  Squeakers are like crack to Niko.  So are laser pointers.

I love my teak!  I am the 3rd generation to have this set and we just had it refinished and is as gorgeous as ever.  It is my grandparents and when my parents divorced they gave it to my mom and when we got married my mom gave it to me.  Moved from Cali, to MN to IN to GA!  The cat does think that it is her scratching post.

That's so cute - she looks so stoked to have killed the toy. Niko is so cute. Smile

YES! I love the "Trophy Pose". She's looks like such a sweetie pie but really, she is quite the predator. What a "good girl"!

Tis' indeed hard to buy toys and keep them intact. Fluff is a common death I am seeing in most toys. I think it's fun sometimes though to buy a $1.00 toy and let them destroy it. They have fun, there's a mess to clean up, lost a dollar and have allowed the dogs "bad manners" <-- but as long as it is their toys and not mine, who really cares, right? -sighs- Oh well...at least one gets some great photo shoots out of it! lol.

When is Grandma gonna send the next set of toys? These ones are broken...-grins-.

We are sending it back to grandma.  She is going to love it.  She sent 2 and we are holding off on the second one with slow torture.  We squeak it while hiding it and Niko flips out.  I have a feeling the lamb will have a much more painful death!  I now have to remember to take before pics.
