We have a six month old Kai pup from Classy Kennel, and he is absolutely wonderful! Marian doesn't respond to emails immediately - sometimes it takes her a few days to a week - but, overall, our experience with her was great. We could not ask for a…

@saya Yes, pant legs are a favorite of Yuma's, too! And sweater sleeves, and socks, and towels and shoes haha

@Brada1878 What you said about "drive leak" is really interesting... Now that I think about it, that does seem to explain some of Yuma's noise making situations! After everyone's input, I think we will most likely give the PetSmart class …

@Zinja and @jellyfart I have heard good things about the trainers at the PetSmart near us, so I think I will at least go up there and talk to them. Yuma gets to play with my parents' lab every day, but he's twelve and a half so I don't think it's en…

So jealous that Mika sleeps through the night! How old is she? I think Yuma is almost there... Your dogs are all handsome/beautiful and they look like a very happy family!

Thanks for the link! Is Koda the Kai you have from Marian's dogs? I was looking through his thread and he is very handsome! Yuma is looking like he'll be a very handsome boy, as well :)

Also, @tjbart17, how did you use a clicker to discourage hand biting? I've never had to use one before and probably won't resort to that for a while, but I'd like to know how it worked for you in case I have to!

Great advice from both of you! Even though Yuma is just a baby and a lot of this is expected, it's really great to hear your experiences and get a rough idea of a timeline. We are crate-training him. He's very good at night... Always goes right to …
