FSS entry rules aren't that extensive about having 3 generation pedigree until it reaches the point where the breed is to move from FSS to being Miscellaneous classed. The rules are as follows for FSS registration: -Fill out a questionnaire for …

For now, I'll just smile at the reference to Kanto-Kansai competition. Being Japanese, as well as a joint history and political science major with Japanese concentrations, that's really interesting to me.. :)

"Do you think it is true that there is only one breeder in the United States? Hasn't she sold a few litters, thereby spreading a few females around for future breeding purposes?" I don't know if there's only one breeder in the US simply f…

Lantis wouldn't care how much any of the pups beg. He'd rather swallow the whole thing just to prevent others from getting it. So course we keep the others away least he choke.. lol

Extra duck on hand .. not fair!

Or, Jen, you can always give 'em whole prey.. Much more to have to work for, and less compulsive swallowing! Good thing Cairns are small though! Sorry about your hands :)

Haha, yeah, some of our dogs get protective about their raw. Luna will take it, go into her crate, and block the entrance with her butt.

I got that email today too!

LOL last picture. "You mean.. she's staying forever?? I don't recall having given permission!" Congrats again on the new addition!

I believe there was a 'ported' cow on my college campus, on the campus that held concentrations of animal and agricultural sciences.. really neat!! Thanks for the info, Lindsay!

Congratulations! All pooped out from the airplane ride.. so cute.

I saw this years ago and wondered why we pesky humans always have some infection problem or the other when similar "ports" as put in during some weird surgery.. lol

Your Lapphund is absolutely adorable! And I like your Akita's "melty face" look when she's resting her head on the floor..

a toe sprain? :( that sucks. feel better soon!

We're trying to work towards gorge/rest with the two little ones, but this is only supposed to be done on raw. Right now all three still eat 2 square meals a day.. we can't free feed. Lantis is a vacuum. Of course, its also hard to free-feed raw.…

Our friend has a huge tanuki statue... and the bf and him always rubs on its stomach dangerously close to ..stuff.. before they go off to the casino. Creepy.
-
Well, sometimes you gotta step on a splinter just right to feel something? Here's to hoping it's nothing serious!
-
Hm, swelling and it being a front leg isn't LP.. maybe insect bite?? bee sting? Splinter?
-
Back leg? I'm thinking probably a mild luxating patella. Mild grades usually have the joint slipping out but going back when the muscle relaxes. .. then they just continue on their way as if nothing happened. But I would address it with the vet, b…
