My friend at the San Diego UT wrote a great article after a resent hunt that he tagged along on.

  • Very nice. hopefully this has an impact on legislation. What is the "head tucking" thing that Taro does?
  • He likes to rest his head on my leg and smother his face. Weird pup.
  • Good article.
  • Very nice Gen! Thanks for sharing!
  • Very well written. Thanks for sharing!
  • Great article! And I can't believe they want to hunt boar with helicopters, but don't want people hunting them with dogs? That makes NO sense!
  • Exactly, the Feds think its better if they use tax dollars to fund a private hog eradication business then to rely on hunters who are willing to pay money to hunt these hogs. It's this type of backward thinking that really gets under my skin.
  • Hunting hogs with helicopters? Disgusting. reminds me of those wolf hunters who hunt wolves via helicopters. Seems lazy and waste money on the helicopter.

I'm sure there are plenty of hunters who love to help keep the population down. I much prefer dog route or hunting on the ground.
