Know Any Hot MOCs?

Hot MOCsDo
you know a man who loves animals? Who expresses compassion through his
care and tenderness for other living beings? Maybe he's an
extraordinary veterinarian, an urban wildlife lover, or a loving pet
owner.



AHA! seeks your nominations for our 2009 Hot MOCs calendar. (Your Man of Compassion's hot-ness factor is judged solely on his compassion, not how he looks.)



Send a brief description of your compassionate man nominee, including
how he demonstrates his compassion toward animals, use our Contact Page
to tell us about him. If chosen for our calendar, we will need a
high-resolution photo. If chosen, your man will earn our undying
gratitude, a really cool award certificate, plus score a few free
copies of the calendar.



Deadline for nominations is August 1, 2008.

    So for funsies I entered my husband, John to this because of the work he embraced when he met me with animal rescue, and thus became a converted dog lover from a cat person. And he won!!!! So he will be one of the 12 Men of Compassion on the calendar! And we included Hachi in the photo with him... they've really been working together and he needed this boost.. so we tried very hard to get a picture of them together worthy of a calendar, and we got one!
    Actually, we got two really cool ones, but only the hachi-john pic is clear in hi-res.
    I'm so proud!

    thanks!!! I honestly forgot about it until I got the email yesterday!
    They will be releasing the winners and their calendar in early September

    It is a really nice calendar, cute retro-ish design. I'm going to take it to work and get a PinUps for Pitbulls for my kitchen calendar!
