# Shikoku Puppies

So, since there are a few members that are about to get their Shikoku puppies I thought it might be nice to post some Shikoku puppy pics... because they are cute to look at but also because it might help people have an idea of what their pup might look like when they grow up.

One of the puppies from the first picture in Ahi's section is Rakka too! I would guess she is one of the lighter color pups.

I think Rakka is the second from the right.  I was given some puppy photos of her from her last owner.  I should scan them!

Bigdog - there are only a few breeders outside of Japan. One in Holland, one in Poland, 1 in Canada and 1 in the US. I am sure that they can ship to the UK. If google Shikoku, you will pretty much come up with all the breeders.

The breeder in Poland has a female from the first breeding Katja did, the same breeding as Ahi (tho Ahi is from the second breeding). She also has a female puppy right now. She is the breeder of Lani, our Akita Inu. Here is her website: http://www.shikoku.pl/ I dunno when she will breed again tho.

How long is the usual wait time for a puppy?

not really sure... my guess would be 6 months to a year, maybe more depending on the time of year.
