Have you taken her to the vet yet? I'd take her, but maybe the other members know a little more about this kind of thing...~

I'm pretty sure thats the Anal glands! Apparently they smell gross when expressed. We has that issue with our previous dog. She'd scoot all over the carpet, we'd usually have to take her to the vet to get them expressed there.

A female JRT I used to have had probs with her anal glands and had to be taken to the vet every so often to get them expressed. It really does stink and is pretty nasty... I could never seem to do it properly, so I'd just let the vet handle it.

I'm 99% sure that is her already expressing her anal glands. When they are having trouble, they tend to the the boot scooting boogie on the carpet. If she's already leaking, I don't think she needs any help. Sounds pretty nasty though. :-/

Yeah. It's not the best of smells. She does clean up on her own, which is bad too, but means less cleanup for me.

A good groomer should be able to extract them also. Have not had any experience with that but EWWWWW!

Sounds like anals. They don't usually just drip all over the place. Definately check to see if you have an abcessed anal sac or infected gland.
