# Water bowl What kind of water bowl do you use Zoie has been drinkg out of harleys bowl but when she does she manages to get water everywhere and his isnt that small. So it can go higher as Kuma grows. Its not that big of a deal we have tile but the dogs step on the water and track foot prints throughout the house ## brandon_w (admin) · 2008-05-29T22:13:05.000Z Elevated bowls can increase the chance of bloat, keep the bowl on the floor. All the Akitas I have ever met were messy, messy drinkers. That elevated bowls decrease the chance of bloat. Yes, from my experience, Akitas are messy drinkers.Kuma would drink water from his nose when he came home, I had to keep the water very shallow.
