such a cute black and tan, you have every reason to be proud. I love her eyebrows.

## Calia · 2009-03-17T00:05:18.000Z
Roxy is turninginto a gorgeous girl, the insides of her ears are very red,so used to white. How old is she, BTW?

## JessicaRabbit (admin) · 2009-03-17T00:08:16.000Z
She really feels like a female Moto to me. (Please take that to be as big a compliment as I intended it)

## Sangmort (moderator) · 2009-03-17T00:17:05.000Z
There's a lot in her face that reminds me of Moto. Pretty little girl! <3 ~

## tendo85 · 2009-03-17T00:17:55.000Z
wow her eyes are gorgeous! beautiful dog.

## _dlroberts · 2009-03-17T01:34:35.000Z
I hate to break it to you mom, but she's no baby anymore. She's quite the lady. :-)

## Romi (admin) · 2009-03-17T01:46:53.000Z
Wow! Roxy has grown up to be a pretty little lady!

## animatorshiba · 2009-03-17T03:35:10.000Z

## okiron · 2009-03-17T03:35:58.000Z
Aww she's growing up so fast.

She's a beautiful little lady. Love the harness, by the way. She's so big now.

## baanton · 2009-03-17T09:05:22.000Z
Roxy is "drop dead gorgeous"! As my hubby would say, you'll have to beat the "boy (shibas) off with a stick"... Adorable! She has a wonderful confident attitude and lots of poise for the camera, too! Is that the "Pam Finishing School" at work?

## KFontaine04 · 2009-03-17T09:18:10.000Z
Wow Pam, she is gorgeous. She looks like she is getting BIG. I love the collar and harness too! What a beautiful Shiba you have there!

## brandon_w (admin) · 2009-03-17T09:20:44.000Z
She is really growing, and looking good. Love her tan "eyebrows".

## Edgewood · 2009-03-17T09:21:38.000Z
She's very pretty!

## Ryu · 2009-03-17T09:51:31.000Z
thanks everyone! She means so much to me. Beth: She'll turn 8 months on the 28th. I still feel like she's 5 months old! lol Jessica: I will take that as a major compliment :) Like I told you before, we constantly think about Moto with her around. Bev: thanks! She's uber-confident outdoors and all smiles. These pictures were taken at our March meetup and she has really improved from last month. In Feb, she stayed in the outskirts of the park and rarely came near the people. This month, she stayed about 15 feet from the groups instead of across the park. I was very happy because there were these two girls (maybe 10 yrs old) who really wanted to pet Roxy but they could tell (without me having to say a word!) that she was very frightened. Instead of approaching her, the girls just sat down and kept quiet letting Roxy work herself up to greeting them. I was so pleased! They were very dog-park friendly kids :) Kristin - she's already 16 pounds! Gained 4 lbs from Jan :)

## KFontaine04 · 2009-03-17T09:52:54.000Z
Wow Pam 16 lbs! That is great. Sake is tipping the scales at 17.5 these days.

## brandon_w (admin) · 2009-03-17T09:55:35.000Z
If the parents of those kids were around I hope you threw them a compliment. It's always nice to run into kids who have been taught to be good with dogs.

## sunyata · 2009-03-17T10:09:30.000Z
She is absolutely gorgeous! And growing up rather beautifully. :) And wow... those kids sound very dog-park-friendly. I wish we had some of those around here so that I could get Nola more confident around children. But all the kids around here want to rush up and touch!

## Ryu · 2009-03-17T10:13:26.000Z
Oh yes definitely. The whole family was enamored with Roxy - but they also knew how to act around her, which was such a nice break. They had this extremely hyper Whippet that kept running circles around the park :) Also, I saw my first Great Pyrenees!! He was BEAUTIFUL, named Alexander, and such a gentle giant. He has been playing with two shibas from our meetup since he was a pup (he's 8 months old) and it was so great to see him wrestle these two tiny dogs. I don't think he knows how much bigger he is now!

## tsukitsune (moderator) · 2009-03-17T10:22:05.000Z
Roxy is a beauty.. totally biased thing to say but I think she looks like my Tsuki with a different outfit on. Something about her face... I love it!! Great pics, too!

## brandon_w (admin) · 2009-03-17T10:23:38.000Z
Do you have pictures of the Great Pyrenees and Whippet? Sight hounds are the best to have at the dog park, they can have a whole pack of dogs trying to catch them, tiring everyone out.

## Ryu · 2009-03-17T10:26:39.000Z
Which is exactly what she did to Ryu. There was no way he could catch her but he sure tried! I just have one really poor shot of the G.P. I totally failed on the picture-taking duty :(

## brandon_w (admin) · 2009-03-17T10:34:30.000Z
Tsk tsk, slacking on picture taking. GP's are awesome dogs. So big. Nemo once caught a Greyhound at the park. They were running all over the place, zig zaging, long lines, circles, whatever. Nemo couldn't catch him in a straight run for his life but the Greyhound decided to run to the left and Nemo took the right angle and caught up to him through some taller brush. For his effort he got kneed in the face by the Greyhound, ran back out to the walking path for the human sat down and just started to Shiba scream like it was the end of the world. He had a mouth full of blood, but it belonged to the Greyhound, they have thin skin and he tore the dogs knee/thigh area open with his teeth. So hopefully Ryu never figures out how to catch a Greyhound at the park. Iggie's, Whippets and Greyhounds are so much fun to watch run, they just move so fast.

Such a lovely young lady! Thanks for sharing these new pictures and I look forward to more.

## CrimsonO2 · 2009-03-17T13:15:25.000Z
Hey Brandon, What's an Iggie? Italian Greyhound? I agree, they are beautiful to watch when they're running and have amazing balance. I once watched an Italian Greyhound pee/poop with its hind legs suspended in the air and only balancing on its front paws. Pam, Roxy is a beautiful pup. I love the first shot you have because she looks coiled and ready to pounce! I'm glad to hear she has come a long way from where she first started. Congratulations to both of you! Jesse

## Leonberger (admin) · 2009-03-17T13:35:33.000Z
Afghan Hounds are also hilarious to see running, because of all he hair :-)

## sujewel · 2009-03-17T13:36:33.000Z
preety girl! I just love Roxy.

## Ryu · 2009-03-25T15:30:30.000Z
Roxy is bell-trained! :D I just hung the bells around the back door and before I knew it, Roxy started ringing the bells when she wanted to go out. Yes, the same girl who is skittish around pretty much everything. haha I think it's hilarious because she has been using the bells consistently for two weeks and Ryu refuses to use them. I don't know if he doesn't get it yet or if he just thinks he's ABOVE using them LOL. Probably the latter :) The pups have been really cute today - I snapped this pic of Roxy:

From Ryu and Roxy

And then went looking for Ryu... he was sleeping in pretty much the same position! (notice the propped up legs) lol

From Ryu and Roxy

And off-topic from Roxy's thread but last night, Tim took off his shirt and went to throw it on the floor. Ryu intercepted it so now he's referred to as our "walking hamper" :)
