# Is it weird...

... to save the 'first' tooth Keiko lost? She's actually lost two now, but I found one today!!! James thinks I'm losing my mind wanting to save it... but she's my baby :o)

I had one of Tojo's puppy teeth somewhere, but something happened to it. Perhaps my husband threw it out, lol. I kept some of Tojo's puppy fur, too. Plus, my mom kept a few locks of my hair from when I was little. She put them in a photo album. Then there's my friend who kept her wisdom teeth after they were removed. So yeah, I agree with Osy. If it's clean, then what's the big deal? Besides, if it's dirty you could always just bleach it.

Oh yes, my mother & father kept a lock of my hair too! I had saved my baby teeth somewhere also...but they're gone now :(~

I saved Beebe's puppy teeth. She would have just eaten them otherwise and had really sharp poos.

Miko keeps beating me to the punch. I see adult teeth in her mouth. Yet I have not found ANY of her baby teeth. The little monkey is swallowing them I guess. I want her teeth. I want to have them cast into jewelry.

I kept 5 or 6 of Kuma's baby teeth, the ones I could get in time. Even a fang, which was the hardest one. And we managed to get one of Nyx's too, those were harder to spot. No idea what to do with them though, I think I'll just save them.

I saved a tooth from my last dog that passed away... I don't think it's weird at all.

Personally, I save pictures instead of physical reminders, but not that there's anything wrong with that. My mom thinks I waste far too much money and memory space on dog pics! But she saved stuff from when I was a baby - how is it any different?

Maybe you could do wax casting of the fang teeth and make little nickel or stainless imprints for beading and sell them as a niche fashion accessory "Nihon fangs" or something bizarre like that, like the dog equivalent of bronzed baby booties.

I never found any of Mika's baby teeth either. But, I would've kept one if I did.
