# Long Island Shiba Meetup SPAM!!!  Too much spam!

The first LI meetup went great. A big thanks to everyone who came, and to the NYC shiba meetup @ meetup.com for helping us to organize. Also a big thanks to Beth who did most of the legwork. Spam to follow shortly.

Looks like a great time! That's awesome you got to meet up! :o) The husky in the pics, is that Tikaani? What a goof! lol Who's Akita was that? Was he/she the only non-Shiba Nihonken there? ----

Yep, that husky is Tikaani, he was actually "snorkeling" in the puddle thus why his muzzle is a bit brown. There was actually two Akitas there, and neither were for the meet up. I talked to both owners in an attempt to get their interest, so hopefully we'll see them again.

Nice pics. Good to see Tikaani was not above getting his face wet. I can't imagine many Shiba being so bold :)
