# Kangai is 6 months already! - now with video! Well its been awhile since I spammed you guys with Kangai pictures and an update. She is already 6 months now! I cannot believe it. She is such a character and a joy to have. I can see why there have been stories as to the Hokkas being the "wildest" nihonken. She is already 6 months now! I cannot believe it. She is such a character and a joy to have. I can see why there have been stories as to the Hokkas being the "wildest" nihonken. She could seriously go non stop without sleep if I let her! I don't think she ever gets tired and is always wanting to be active in your life 24/7. She is doing very well with other dogs and we start her obedience class next Saturday, which she desperately needs. She does good with "sit" for the most part, but she needs be be corrected a lot when it comes to walking or jumping on people, ie when I come home with groceries, she doesn't understand the word NO or DOWN yet. She has so much energy when she gets out for a walk or to the park, she just goes and goes and goes! The other two cant keep up! Anyways here are some new pictures of her and I promise to do better with the updating thing! And I am still smitten with Keira! ## jmaxwell · 2008-08-16T14:17:43.000Z Thanks guys! =) Her and Kenji are doing very good together! More so than her and Keira. When she was little she knew that Keira was the alpha of the house, but now that she is getting older, and exploring more, she is starting to push Keira's buttons and they get into fights a lot, more so than ever actually. We try to monitor them when they have a toy around because thats when the brawls start, or especially when we give them all new bones, we give each of them one at the same time, and Keira always thinks Kangai has gotten one bigger and better so she tries to take hers and ignores her own as if it was garbage. She always wants want Kangai has. Its pure jealousy and its funny because thats how children act, minus the attacking and biting each other...lol. Kangai and Kenji are buddies. They are always licking each other and have never once gotten into a fight with each other. I have never had any problems with him actually. I no longer give bones to the dogs in the same room. We put each dog in a separate room and then they have their bones for 20 minutes, then we take them away and are allowed to play together again. The fights were just way to gnarly. Kenji is GORGEOUS! *Brad* is he more brindle than Kona? I'm really glad they are getting along well for the most part. I bet Keira and her will sort things out quickly. BTW, if I recall correctly, you once promised a video of Kangai's howls. That's like Kona, when he is in the house he is snoozing in the corner somewhere. They look great! They were pictures of a spring fashion spread. They have the same parents, but they are born from 2 different litters.
