She is crazy and dramatic and such a nut case, but we love her to death. I think she is gonna be about 22-25lbs full grown the way she is sprouting. Yes, they are my babies, now and always. Do you think the male shibas are less "crazy" than the girls? She looks like she is ALWAYS playing :) About the adult weight, Ryu is 25.6 lbs at 15 months - I hope he's done! He feels like a such a beast! Honey NEVER stops playing. Even in her sleep she still runs around. Poor thing. LOL We can always hear her chasing SOMETHING in her sleep. And if I try a sneak attack with the camera ready to shoot......NOPE! She's too quick for that! I love the looks on their face during the shiba 500's, so determened to RUN! according to the AKC website the standard is "Size, Proportion, Substance Males 14½ inches to 16½ inches at withers. Females 13½ inches to 15½ inches. The preferred size is the middle of the range for each sex. Average weight at preferred size is approximately 23 pounds for males, 17 pounds for females. Males have a height to length ration of 10 to 11, females slightly longer. Bone is moderate. Disqualification--Males over 16½ inches in dogs and under 14½ inches.
