Is it okay to keep him on the puppy food until Sake is a year old? (6 more months) or will this really screw him up? When is the "normal" age to take them off puppy food? Right now they get a rotation of Evo red meat bites (all life stages) and Orijen Puppy. Another question...If I switch Miso to Orijen adult would I have to go through the same transition process? i.e. mixing old with new for a while before full transistion?

I have kept my dogs on puppy food up to a year with no problems. When you decided to change over I would mix old with new just so the bowels have time to adjust.

I'm a fan of mixing - I do it every time we do a change in rotation.

Koji will be 1 year old on Feb 3rd. I started transitioning him about amonth ago to Adult/All Life Stages food. I first got Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. He tolerated it well, but really didn't care much for it. So I went to Petco this weekend to try the Wellness CORE, but they were out. While there I came across Halo's Spot's Stew. Not grain free like the others (but neither was his puppy kibble), but I was very impressed with the ingredients. So I gave it a try. Koji loves it, and is tolerating it well. I didn't even bother to transition like I've always done before. I think I'm going to stick with this for awhile. FYI... Spot's Stew
