Whenever I would get on it she would watch me intently and after I was done she would inspect the treadmill and stand on it for a long time. So a few days ago I figured I'd see if she would walk on it. Having her in the harness helped keep her in the right spot, and having lots of neat treats really got her moving. Now she walks on it without the harness and lead, and no need for treats! What a good hunter. That's neat she learned the treadmill. Did you have to put side rails or wooden sides on the treadmill to keep her from going side to side and getting off? Did you initially hold the harness or tie it to the treadmill to have your hands free? One of the kids stood in front of her with some yummy treats. She caught on REAL quick. Now we dont use the harness OR the treats. I dont keep her on there very long at all....MAYBE a full two minutes? lol The only reason I even TRIED to get her on it was because she was SO interested in it while I was on it. I wouldn't use it to replace walks or anything, I was just curious if she would stay on it. I dont think she Once tried going off the side. lol (She'll do ANTHING for treats! LOL Some how Honey's duck has risen from the dead. I dont know HOW but today the duck has it's quack back! LOL AND to top it off Honey found her lost cuz. So now I'm being treated to the sounds of both the duck AND the cuz! It's the only pet store we have here in my little town. I had to put the cuz up last night. Honey wanted to chew on it in the middle of the night. When Mercutio walks around with it in his mouth it makes me chuckle!! ## LisaW · 2009-01-21T12:46:31.000Z oh poor duck...no honey has done a great job..if mommy tells her to kiiiiilll this duck, her neck has to be broken several times :) in austria we have these chickenversions...but dont know if they make any noises little hint for these noisytoys if you dont like them: with a needle you can push inside the whistle...
