I figured it was just cool in there, but then I started to realize some of the other pups had started using her normal "spots" for their own sleeping pleasure. So I decided it was time for her to have a new place, one that most of the other dogs couldn't get to very easily - since Kaia is rather small she can get into smaller areas, and she tends to like to sleep in little "nooks". So I made her a new spot... it was cute, I went over to her when she was sleeping in the bathroom and said "Kaia, why are you in here? Come on, I'll make you a better spot" She got up and followed me to the closet, I took out this tiny little bed we used for Kona when he was 8 weeks old... I looked at her and said "come on little one...", she followed me over to the desk and I put the bed down in a place perfectly sized for it. She wasted no time, went right over to it and laid down, then gave me a look like "finally dad, I've been needing a new spot!". lol. Kaia and I are like soul mates, she has always understood me and I have always understood her. We just have this "thing", we "get" each other. :o) Kaia's new spot: Funny side note, After Kaia slept there for a few hours she got up to get some water and Hilo tried to get in her spot. lol! There is a 5 dog max rule for the office [not our rule, the dogs rule, we don't care how many are in here] and so they take turns, Kaia has been sleeping on the back of the couch when she is on "watch duty" and then Kona in here on the bed... then Kona goes out on the couch for "watch duty" and Kaia comes back in and takes the bed.
