Pam, you failed to remember the first rule of Shiba obedience (the one which I'm being reminded of by Lucy many times a day now :-(). He was holding the ball so there was no incentive for him to listen. :-P

We almost have this down.  But the shiba butt twitch leads to premature lunging.  She is doing pretty good, I say about 80%, which is perefection in the shiba world.

I laugh every time I read this title.  Ah Yea... deliberate disobedience with all CAPS just about sums up our Shibas.  It takes a special person to laugh and understand that.

 I wouldn't take a million dollars for mine.  As a matter of fact, coming home yesterday there was a guy stopped at a red light next to me.  He was driving a little sports car with his windows rolled down as were mine.  He yelled out, what kind of dog is that?  I said a Shiba Inu.  He replied, 'nothing but a little fox, beautiful'.  I said what kind of car is that?  He replied a Chrysler Crossfire.  Want to trade.  I laughed and said "No Way!" Might not have been a million, but it was rejected just the same
