Will you have internet access there? ## Romi (admin) · 2008-02-10T01:37:14.000Z Don't worry Rachael, you will be fine.  Just keep in mind that your girls will be left with a very good caretaker (Chad) and that you have nothing to worry about.  Plus, you can always check in every hour  .  That sucks that it happened to fall on V-day.  Im sure Chad will whip up something extra good and surprise you with something special.  Its always scary for a mama to leave her babies for a long period of time.  But I think everything will work out just fine! ## brada1878 (admin) · 2008-02-10T03:50:16.000Z that sux. ## hondru (moderator) · 2008-02-10T04:26:42.000Z I hope everything goes well for you!  And your boss, I hear being induced is awful.  The first time Noah and I left Tojo for a weekend was for out anniversary getaway and we spent most of the time talking about how much we missed Tojo, lol!  Also, be wary that maybe they will miss you, too.  On the occassions where I have been gone for a few days (hospital stays, visiting my sisters, etc) Tojo usually gets upset and wrecks something.  The other pups are fine, but Tojo gets upset when I'm gone (but not when Noah's gone, probably because I'm the one home all the time). ## MommyofNiko · 2008-02-10T11:55:27.000Z Thanx...I ask Chad all the time when I am gone during the day how my girls are when he is home with them.  By night time they are pacing, standing guard and waiting for me to come home.  Chad leaves for a week and is home a week so they are used to being separated from him.  I am going to try and sneak out at least once to go home and see them, Chad may bring them over also.  It will be interesting and I will have to make sure that Chad is extra patient with them.  So many people think I am silly cause they are "just dogs" so I am so glad to come here and be with people who understand. ## JessicaRabbit (admin) · 2008-02-10T13:30:31.000Z Jason had never had dogs before Moto and Piglet. So I think I sometimes underestimate his relationship with them. And while some of the finer details of being a pup pop are still being learned, he is a great pop. There are times where, between volunteering, and my location work, I can work 16+ hour days (balanced out by the fact that I typically only work 3 days a week). I used to obsess that if I wasn't there, they wouldn't receive the adequate attention I felt they deserved. I am learning that they love Jason so much and he loves them. They may miss me, but they aren't missing out. Niko and Sasha will miss you. No doubt. And Valentines away from your honey is a bummer. BUT Chad will make sure that those pups are well loved and cared for no doubt. And you have another 50 or so years together to celebrate V-Day. And just think, if you celebrate a day later, all the restaurants will be more empty, flower prices will be cheaper, and chocolate will be on sale! ## hondru (moderator) · 2008-02-10T14:03:09.000Z ^ That's a good point about celebrating on a different day.  That's actually Noah and my plan as well.  Also, because it will be easier to find a babysitter on a different day since everyone we would ask will be out for dinner of Valentine's Day.   I have to really feel sorry for a friend of ours, though.  They made a reservation at this nice restaurant/lounge for Valentine's Day and later one they found out that every Thursday is "Lady's Night" which means there will be male strippers and all of their lady fans there.   Not that that has anything to do with the topic at hand, I just found that funny/sad. ## MommyofNiko · 2008-02-10T15:02:18.000Z LMAO!  Thanks Jess for putting it in a great perspective. The kids are asleep, mom is 2 cm and being induced and will probably have a baby boy by tomorrow morning.  I am going to head to bed soon with my little 13 month old Valentine.   I got 2 dozen roses, a bunch of chocolate, Chad brought me chipotle for lunch and he is brining me pizza tomorrow.  Sasha is at home waiting for me to come home and Niko is being spoiled by sleeping in MY spot on the couch. ## okiron · 2008-02-13T23:41:55.000Z Woohoo! Im home not, so happy!  I drove in the subdivision and Chad was walking the girls and they went nuts.  Suprisingly Niko was the most excited.  She went crazy.  Even kitty rolled around for me and was talking away (until the dogs got home from their nap).  I get to have Monday off.  The last 3 days I put in 45 hours (not including sleep).
