So I have a question/dilema.

We got Dante when he was about 3 months old and he was potty trained in a week. We felt we were very lucky. He usually goes to the door and scratches it and we take him out. In fact, we went the last three weeks with no accidents at all. But then he got neutered last week and ever since then has had at least one accident a day inside. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening? I dont know if its just a coincidence or what.

Does anyone have any suggestions to help with this?

I've never heard of this happening, but it doesn't surprise me. A neuter surgery causes some trauma to that whole area so it may be he's having some swelling that giving him some incontinence or something. Unfortunately, I'm not to educated on most medical issues, so hopefully someone else will have a better understanding of what may be causing the issue.

Check with your vet. I have never heard of a male dog experiencing long term incontinence as a direct result of neutering. It isn't an abdominal incision but there is a fair amount of tugging to pull the cords out. He may have developed a bladder infection, which I would check out first. He could be regressing in his potty training, but check first to rule out a medical issue to be safe.

I would be worried about a bladder infection also.
