Here's Josephine "guarding" the farmhouse and our wood supply. (We command her to "guard the house" when we leave, then she knows she does not get to go with us.) Here's Josephine deciding she would like to drive the car when my husband steps out to pump gas. Here's a sunset at the dog park. I am very certain of it. If you look at her feet she has the pointed "tree climbing" feet of a Kai, same bone structure and proportions too. The only thing I would say is less Kai is the "stop" of her nose, but she is a female and Kai females tend to have less primitive head shapes... Also she could be from one of the breeders in North America that breed Kai w/ more of a stop. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you - I think, imho, you can put this case to bed [tho, i think you already have] - you have a Kai-Ken! :o) Thanx for the spam! Brad and Kelly: You are right -- I am more convinced all the time, especially when I get to see pics and videos of your Kona and the other Kais on this board, that we did happen to find a very unique doggie. I'm having fun with the dog, the camera and the beauty that surrounds me, I guess. As to the sunset, we usually don't get to the dog park until later in the evening but I've found the lighting is almost always stunning when there are some clouds to reflect/refract or whatever the word is!
