Kira, the little one, is a Finnish Lapphund. So as long as we have her and one or more akitas she'll always be "the little one" :) Tilde, my daughter on the picture, is 6 years old now. It's amazing how well Viggo, our akita, follows her. If Tilde continue to handle dogs like she does now she'll end up like a new "dog whisperer" :D

Wonderful pics, thank you for sharing!! One of the things I LOVE about the Akita is how incredibly gentle they can be, especially with kids! Your Viggo clearly loves his human :-) I love the markings on the Lapphund, she's adorable!!

Viggo is doing great with kids. As far as I think most breeds is ok with kids. It's not only the dog who needs to learn how to act with kids, the kids needs to learn how to act around dogs too :)

Beautiful doggies and beautiful daughter! Thanks for sharing the pictures! The little Finnish Laphund is adorable --- have not seen one here in the states, so it is fun to expand my knowledge of doggies worldwide.
