# Furminator!

I thought this was already posted, but I can't seem to find the thread anywhere, so I'll ask anyway :o) We just got a furminator for Keiko and I was wondering how often you should/shouldn't use it. BTW - We got it from Amazon for only $25 and free shipping... best deal ever.

I would only use it once per coat blowing [approximately twice a year] - it can be rough on a dogs skin if you over use it. ---- This is what Ahi has to say about the Furminator: ----

We use it when blowing is killin us. DONT overuse it. Our dogs have gone bald from Chad! Hair will always come out so use good judgment.

Thanks! I knew there was some advice about it I wasn't remembering - we got it because it seems as though Keiko is starting to blow her coat ... maybe cuz of the weather change... or maybe she's losing the puppy one.
